Trainee Sales Executive

Are you confident, ambitious and looking to start a career in sales?

We’re working with an established business media and events company that is looking to bring a Trainee Sales Executive into their growing commercial team. This is a genuine entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to learn sales properly, build their confidence and develop into a successful sales professional.

You’ll initially work alongside experienced Advertising Managers, supporting them with lead generation, research and day-to-day sales activity. You’ll be given full training, guidance and proven scripts, so previous sales experience isn’t essential. What matters most is that you’re personable, motivated and not afraid to pick up the phone and speak to people.

What will you be doing?

  • Researching and sourcing new business leads
  • Making introductory calls to prospective clients
  • Contacting businesses and industry professionals about events and commercial opportunities
  • Following up leads and keeping CRM records up to date
  • Supporting experienced Advertising Managers with sales activity and administration
  • Identifying potential new customers and business opportunities
  • Building your confidence and developing your sales skills through hands-on experience

You don’t need previous sales experience. We’re much more interested in your personality, attitude and willingness to learn.
